1 dead, 2 injured, Maharashtra power generation station

A power station explosion in Uran, Maharashtra, on Sunday left one person dead and two others hurt; Uran is located around 48 kilometres from Mumbai. The explosion happened at the Maharashtra Power Generation Company’s power plant in Uran, Navi Mumbai.The company’s gas turbine power station’s boiler pump exploded, according to the preliminary evaluation, according to a source reported by news agency PTI. According to reports, the incident happened about 4:15 PM.Three employees, including a junior engineer, required immediate transport to the National Burns Center Hospital in Airoli due to severe burn injuries. The official claimed that one of them had already been pronounced dead.
