Years later, Tapasi has now grown up to be a lovely young lady and is in love with Kiriti. She introduces Kiriti to her mother, who approves of him, and plans to marry them. Things change when Tapasi finds out that she has already been married in her childhood. This creates a conflict in her. As others find out this secret and ostracize Tapasi. How will Tapasi and Kiriti deal with this stigma? Will they triumph in their love?

“With ‘Sahityer Sera Somoy’ we are adapting iconic classics from Bengali literature for our audience. The response has been extremely encouraging. As most of such stories have been immortalised even in the silver screen earlier, the challenge is humongous for us to recreate the story and present it in such a manner that the audience representing the current generation also enjoys watching it.  This time, we are introducing Smt Ashapurna Devi’s classic ‘Agnipariksha’, which was also made into a blockbuster hit movie featuring the legends, Uttam Kumar and Suchitra Sen. We are quite upbeat with the choice of actors and the way the episodes are shaping up and eagerly await the audience reaction”, said Ms. Eshita Surana Poddar and Priyanka Surana Bardia, Directors, Aakash Aath.

Sambhavi Mukherjee will be seen portraying Tapasi’s childhood. Veronica Mona Dutta is going to be seen as young Tapasi.
