Alipurduar DSA Wins NCC Inter District Senior Invitational Tournament
The NCC Inter District Senior Invitational Tournament, a T20 cricket competition jointly organized by National Cricket Club and Cricket Darpan, concluded with Alipurduar District Sports Association (DSA) lifting the trophy at Ashok Nagar Ground
West Bengal: The Final of the NCC Inter District Senior Invitational Tournament, jointly organized by National Cricket Club and Cricket Darpan, was held at Ashok Nagar Ground. Alipurduar District Sports Association emerged as the Winners.
It was a six team tournament comprising District Sports Associations (DSAs) of Alipurduar, Darjeeling, Kalimpong, Purba Midnapur and Jhargram. In addition, there was a Combined XI team featuring 3 players from each of the 5 districts.
While the League Matches were held in Alipurduar and Haldia, the final was held in Ashok Nagar.
There were many young cricketers who performed well in the Tournament. Efforts would be made by NCC to organise a training camp for such budding talents in the days ahead.
