Bharat Jodo Yatra: Rahul Gandhi Leaves Yatra

The Bharat Jodo Yatra, led by Rahul Gandhi, entered the Panipat district of Haryana on Thursday evening from Uttar Pradesh. However, Gandhi had to return to Delhi for the night due to his mother Sonia Gandhi falling ill. The second phase of the Yatra is set to take place from Friday to January 10. Bhupinder Singh Hooda, a Congress leader and former chief minister, stated that the Yatra has received tremendous support and is expected to attract a large number of participants in its second phase. Hooda also commented on the deadlock over the SYL canal and the sexual harassment allegations against Sports Minister Sandeep Singh.
