BNCCI’s 35th Industrial India Trade Fair

BNCCI hosted the District, Start-up and Skill Conclave at the 35th Industrial India Trade Fair inviting startups to promote their ideas and panel discussion on establishment of startups.
The theme of the conclave was “UTKARSH BANGLA Gorer Khetra Gramine Shilpo O Karigori Sikha BNCCI” to provide students with a platform to understand and adapt to the new changes in the education system as the youth has the zeal to bring forward a revolution in the industrial landscape of the country. Post-pandemic, there are challenges that have been acknowledged and solutions have been sought. BNCCI as its endeavour towards business and community, has taken the initiative of supporting startups through mentoring, coaching financial support from the Government of West Bengal, MAKAUT for fast-tracking statutory matters and incubation lab facilities.
Inaugural speech of the day was addressed by Shri Debashis Dutta, President of Bengal National Chamber of Commerce & Industry encouraged to take this opportunity ahead and he strongly supported every new initiative as a challenge to pursue ahead.


The theme of the conclave was addressed by Shri Madan Mohan Maity, Vice President of BNCCI, accompanied by other guest of honors, Shri Chandranath Sinha, MIC, MSME & T, Swami Vedadiananda, Shilpa Mandir, Belur Math, Prof. Dhrubajyoti Chattopadhyay, VC, SNU, Mr. Subhasish Sarkar, Regional Lead – East, IT-ITeS Sector Skills Council NASSCOM.
Upon completion of the interactive session chief guests visited the desks of the student projects which were displayed at the fair by different institutes. This was followed by a panel discussion on “New Age Skill for 2023″- The Demand Supply Gap“.
There were exclusive chat sessions with Start-up’s, conducted by Shri Debashis Dutta and Chandra Shekhar Ghosh, Founder, MD and CEO Bandhan Bank which included insights regarding investment and entrepreneurship.
