Chandni Merchant Association of Kolkata celebrated 75th Independence by organising free eye check up camp
News Desk : Chandni Merchent Association, the shop owner’s association of Chandi Market, kolkata celebrated 75th Independence Day by organising free eye check up for all. The President of the Chandni Merchent Association Md Haji Akbar told, ‘We do social work throughout the year and specially on 15th Aug we arrange this eye check up camp alongwith other social activities. We hope every year we will continue the activities. We even ensure to all the shop owners, workers of Chandni Market that you never face any kind of un-social disturbances. The Association will takecare the safety and security of all the shop owners and workers in this market.”
The local councillor of ward no 47, KMC, Sri Bimal Singh was also present at the ocassion. Sri Bimal Singh share sweets with the daily wages laborer of the market. Bimal Singh encouraged the laborers in Vojpuri language as most of this community belong to the bhojpuri speaking region.
