The Kedarnath Temple Committee has announced the dates for opening the Shri Kedarnath Dham, but there have been concerns about cracks on a section of the Badrinath Highway near Joshimath between JP and Marwari.

The Chamoli DM has reported that cracks have appeared on the road, and several homes in Joshimath have also been affected by subsidence. As a result, hundreds of residents have been relocated to relief centers. The Uttarakhand government has offered relief packages for the affected families, and the Chief Minister has announced a special grant of ₹50,000 for transportation and immediate needs.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has expressed concern and offered assistance to the state administration. The Badrinath Dham is one of the four ancient pilgrimage sites, and it remains open for six months each year.
