HBO and Warner Bros Contents will be Now on Jio Cinema

Hollywood, United States: As per a new multi-year agreement between Warner Bros Discovery and Viacom18, Indian audiences will have access to content from HBO, Max Original, and Warner Bros on the JioCinema streaming platform starting from next month.

Under the new deal, Indian subscribers will have access to the latest seasons of HBO, Max Original, and Warner Bros. Television shows on JioCinema simultaneously with their US premiere. This comes after all HBO content left Disney+ Hotstar a month ago. Popular series like House of The Dragon, Succession, and Euphoria, along with much-awaited shows like The Idol and The Sympathizer, will be available to Indian audiences. Warner Bros. Discovery’s president for India, Southeast Asia, and Korea, Clement Schwebig, expressed excitement about partnering with Viacom18 to bring premium content to Indian fans. Ferzad Palia, head of SVOD and International Business at Viacom18, shared the company’s mission to create the best entertainment destination for Indians and believes that the partnership with Warner Bros. Discovery is a big milestone in achieving that. Along with the latest seasons of shows, highly anticipated premieres, and Warner Bros.’ blockbuster movies, the library will also include kids’ animation like Dexter’s Laboratory and Tom and Jerry Kids.
