Hulladek Recycling Collects More Than 4000 Kgs Of E-Waste From South Bengal During The Festive Season

On 30th November, Hulladek Recycling Pvt Ltd, Eastern India’s fastest growing e-waste management company, has collected more than 4000 kgs of e-waste from more than 500 households of South Bengal during the festive seasons of Durga Puja and Diwali. The company, which is headquartered in Kolkata, has collection network of e-waste across 24 cities in 18 states of the country at present and plans to increase its collection points across all states of India.

Last month, Hulladek had launched a nation-wide e-waste collection drive, named the Festive Edit in association with more than 20 sustainable organizations like Pachim Bengal Pradeshnik Marwari Mahila Samelan, Inner Wheel Club and others. The objective was not only to organise a nationwide e-waste collection drive but also create awareness amongst the masses regarding the imperativeness of a greener and cleaner world. 

“During the festivals we do clean our homes and get rid of all kinds of waste. It is important that this waste is recycled in a proper manner, specially e-waste. Hence, we started this nationwide initiative in association with our partner organisations. We are overwhelmed with the response that we have received from the residents of South Bengal, namely, Durgapur, Asansol, Raniganj, Neyamatpur etc. I congratulate the people of South Bengal for making ‘Festive Edit’ a grand success,” said Mr Nandan Mall, Chairman and Managing Director, Hulladek Recycling Pvt Ltd.
