India Urges G20’s 3S Strategy In Agriculture Ecosystem

India has urged G20 nations to adopt a “3S” strategy for agriculture, focusing on smart, sustainable, and serving approaches to increase agricultural productivity and address concerns about global food security.
The Union Minister for civil aviation and steel, Jyotiraditya Scindia, emphasized the use of modern technology like drones to increase agricultural productivity and improve sustainability. He also highlighted that India has made significant progress in the agriculture sector and is the top nation in the world in milk production, second in vegetables and fruits, and third in foodgrains production.
The minister further stated that India and G-20 nations will provide a new roadmap for agriculture based on the outcomes of their discussions at the first Agriculture Deputies Meeting of the Agriculture Working Group under India’s G20 presidency.
