The incident has caused concern in the densely populated area, as it occurred just a few meters from a school. Local residents have reported that there have not been any previous incidents of this nature in the area and have speculated that the chemicals involved may have been intended for use in making fireworks for the World Cup football tournament. Three bottles containing a chemical substance have been collected from the scene by the bomb disposal team and have been sent to the forensic science lab for further analysis. The victim’s injuries include a forehead wound and injuries to his hand and legs. He is currently in stable condition at the hospital under observation.
