Mamata Banerjee did not get Chance to Speak at G20 Summit Chaired by PM

West Bengal Prime Minister Mamata Banerjee attends a virtual meeting of governors, prime ministers and deputy governors chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, claiming he has not had the opportunity to discuss various aspects of India’s G20 presidency sources said. This meeting was a follow-up to a meeting held in New Delhi on 5 December and was attended by his Banerjee who was in the capital at the time.
At the meeting, Modi stressed the importance of teamwork and called for cooperation between states and union territories in organizing G20 events, according to a statement from the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO). The Prime Minister held an all-party meeting on his G20 in New Delhi on December 6.His Banerjee, who is also TMC’s chief executive, attended Tuesday’s session. “This was a casual, super-flop meeting where only the prime ministers of BJP-controlled states were allowed to speak.We feel offended and humiliated.This will destroy the federal structure of the country. It’s an attempt,” she later told Navanna’s media.In December 2021, Mamata Banerjee said at a meeting convened by the prime minister on “Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav” that despite her name, she was “offended that she was not allowed to speak” was erected.
