News Desk : Controversy erupted in Maharashtra over offensive comments about the Prophet on social media again. Police arrested one person in the incident. According to police sources, the accused is Nikesh Raju Paste, age 28. The young man recently made offensive remarks about the Prophet Mohammad in a WhatsApp group at Sangampara wholesale market in the Bhiwandi suburb. A plumber then lodged a complaint against him at Nizampara police station. In his complaint, he said that Nikesh’s remarks about the Prophet could spread unrest between the two communities. The religious sentiments of a community have been hurt. The Nizampara police station then arrested the accused youth Nikesh. Police have filed a case against Nikesh Raju Paste.
