Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and former Chief Minister Lalu Prasad Yadav are going to meet Sonia Gandhi. It is speculated that they will talk about the formation of an alliance across the country. Because a few months ago Nitish switched parties, transferring to that of Yadav’s. A new government has been formed. The Congress and the Left also supported him. So apart from Sonia, Nitish and Yadav may also talk to the Left. However, the visit of the two colleagues to Delhi is being closely monitored by NCP leader Sharad Pawar, another expert in the anti-BJP alliance.
Since the formation of the new government in Bihar, there has been a great change in the national politics. There have been efforts to build unity amongst the opposition. One of the reasons for this is the change of camp of the Chief Minister of Bihar less than two years ago before the Lok Sabha elections. According to analysts, the process of convening the old UPA may begin after Saturday’s meeting. Nitish Kumar had a long talk with Rahul Gandhi during his recent visit to Delhi. Besides Delhi Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party chief Arvind Kejriwal, Nitish also met Sharad Pawar, Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav, CPIM and CPI general secretary Sitaram Yechury, D Raja.

However, the political circle sees another reason behind Nitish’s hyperactivity. According to them, after handling the chief ministership for a long time, he has set his sights on the prime minister’s chair. There is speculation that other important decisions could be taken after getting the green signal from the Congress leadership including Sonia to lead the alliance. In that case, Yadav has agreed to give up the chair of Chief Minister of Bihar to Tejashwi Yadav an old ally.

Although not openly speaking about it, according to the leaders of BJP, the election of the Congress president is actually a show-off. They are claiming that it is common knowledge that whoever the president is, the driving force behind the Congress is the mother and son duo of the Gandhi family. Shah and Nadda have targeted Nitish for the time being. On this day, the Union Home Minister attacked Nitish while visiting Bihar. He said, “Nitish has cheated the people of Bihar. Laluji said, I have come to start a fight. Laluji, you have been doing that work for so long in Bihar.”
As the process of coming closer of the opposition parties has started, the pressure is naturally increasing on the BJP.
