Omicron outbreak again in Maharashtra, 36 infected with new form, health experts are worried
Restrictions and mask rules are lifted, and Corona is gone, it’s not time to say it yet.

Soumya Swaminathan, the chief scientist of the World Health Organization, said that another wave of corona may hit soon. This new form of Omicron is raising panic in Maharashtra at the beginning of winter. As a result, health experts have also expressed concern about ‘Long Covid’.
According to the Maharashtra government, the number of people infected with Omicron’s new form of XBB is currently 36. Out of which 32 are under house arrest. And 4 people are under treatment in hospital. The health department said 19 of the 36 people had symptoms, or mild symptoms. The rest have no symptoms. No one took the help of oxygen. But most have only had two vaccinations. Some have taken a booster dose, and some have been infected with Corona in the past.
Health experts are increasingly concerned about post-Covid symptoms. Even after recovering from Corona, many people are experiencing symptoms like shortness of breath, chest pain, palpitation, frequent fever, cold, mental depression. These symptoms are also long lasting. As per the advice of health experts, it is necessary to start treatment as soon as these symptoms appear.
