Snake Found Inside Air India Express

When the planned Air India Express Boeing B-737 flight from Calicut to Dubai touched down at the Dubai airport, the crew discovered a snake inside the aircraft.

Before the next procedure, the aeroplane was adequately fumigated after the passengers safely disembarked.

“Air India Express B737-800 aircraft VT-AXW operated flight IX-343 (Calicut-Dubai). A snake was found in the cargo hold on arrival at Dubai,” said by a senior Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA).

“Passengers were safely deplaned and airport fire services were informed. The aircraft has been fumigated,” said by another DGCA official

The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), the organisation in charge of overseeing aviation, has commissioned a thorough investigation into the event.

“DGCA officials investigate the snake incident in the Air India Express plane,” said the aviation body.
